Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using NostrDeals ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Platform.

2. Eligibility

To use NostrDeals, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Have access to a Nostr key pair for authentication
• Have access to Bitcoin (via Lightning Network) for purchases
• Be legally permitted to use Bitcoin in your jurisdiction

3. Account Access

Access to NostrDeals is provided through Nostr authentication. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Nostr private key (nsec)
• All activities that occur under your account
• Immediately notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access

We cannot recover your account if you lose your private key.NostrDeals does not store your private key and has no ability to reset or recover it.

4. Purchases and Payments

4.1 Bitcoin Payments

All purchases on NostrDeals are made using Bitcoin via the Lightning Network. Prices are displayed in USD but converted to Bitcoin at the time of purchase. Exchange rate fluctuations are your responsibility.

4.2 Transaction Finality

Bitcoin transactions are irreversible by design. Once a payment is confirmed, it cannot be reversed, cancelled, or charged back. You acknowledge and accept this characteristic of Bitcoin.

4.3 No Refunds

Due to the irreversible nature of Bitcoin transactions, we cannot offer refunds. Please carefully review all deal details, including terms, features, and limitations before making a purchase. See our Refund Policy for more details.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of NostrDeals, you agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures
• Not engage in fraudulent activities
• Not resell or redistribute purchased deals without authorization
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect the intellectual property rights of sellers

6. Seller Responsibilities

If you list deals on NostrDeals, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your products
• Deliver purchased products as described
• Respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner
• Only sell products you have the legal right to sell
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding online sales
• Maintain the quality and availability of your products

7. Intellectual Property

The NostrDeals platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. Products sold through the platform remain the intellectual property of their respective owners/sellers. Your purchase grants you a license to use the product as specified in the deal terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• The quality, accuracy, or reliability of any products sold
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform
• That the Platform will meet your specific requirements
• The accuracy of Bitcoin exchange rates or transaction processing

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOSTRDEALS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Platform
• Any products purchased through the Platform
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• Bitcoin price fluctuations or transaction issues
• Actions or omissions of third-party sellers

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between buyers and sellers should be resolved directly between the parties. NostrDeals may, at its discretion, assist in mediation but is not obligated to do so. We are not responsible for disputes arising from individual transactions.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate jurisdiction.
